From Midway International Airport:
Start out going SOUTH on S. Cicero Avenue/IL-50 South toward 59th Street. Make a U-TURN on W. 59th Street back onto S. Cicero Avenue/IL-50 North. After proceeding NORTH on S. Cicero Avenue for 2 miles, MERGE onto I-55 North/Stevenson Expy North.  In 7 miles, MERGE onto S. Lake Shore Drive/US-41 South. In 3.5 miles, EXIT at 53rd Street. To McCormick Place/Downtown Chicago:
From The Beadle, head NORTH on S. Kenwood Avenue for one block to E. Hyde Park Blvd. Make a RIGHT turn onto E. Hyde Park Blvd.  In one-third mile, turn LEFT at S. Lake Park Avenue. Take S. Lake Park Avenue for one-half mile to E. 47th Street.  Make a RIGHT turn onto E. 47th Street and then turn LEFT to MERGE onto S. Lake Shore Drive/US-41 North.  In 8.5 miles, EXIT at McCormick Place. For downtown Chicago stay on S. Lake Shore Drive for another 2.5 miles.

Public Transportation to the Airports
From either airport take the CTA subway line (the Blue Line from O'Hare or the Orange Line from Midway, both $2.00) to the Lake Street station; walk 4 blocks east to the Metra Randolph Street/Millennium Park station; take the Metra Electric Commuter Line ($2.35) to the 53rd Street station; walk 4 blocks west on 53rd Street to Kenwood Avenue; turn right on Kenwood (north) for 1/2 block to The Beadle at 5140 S Kenwood Avenue.

Private Transportation to the Airports
Taxis are available from both O'Hare (approximately $50 plus gratuity) and Midway (approximately $30 plus gratuity). They require reservations 24 hours in advance and the costs are about $30 per person from O'Hare and $17 from Midway. Public Transportation To/From Downtown and McCormick Place
From The Beadle, walk 1/2 block south on Kenwood to 53rd Street. Turn left (east) on 53rd Street and walk four blocks to the Metra Electric Commuter Line 53rd Street station at 53rd Street and S Lake Park Avenue. The train stops at McCormick Place and many downtown Chicago locations. It costs $2.35 if the ticket is bought at the station or $4.35 if it's bought on the train. Ten-ride passes are available for $18.30.
